Top London Concierge, Lifestyle and Events Company Relocates HQ to Henley

With many businesses struggling or closing in Henley, it is great to be able to share a positive story that the head office of The Sincura Group has relocated to our beautiful town from London. I had the pleasure of spending some time with this award-winning company to understand what they are all about – and it proved an eye-opening experience.

They promote themselves as a private concierge, lifestyle, tickets and events company. But what does that mean? In essence they are fixers – if you want to jump a 6 month waiting list at the most sought-after restaurants, want that sold out ticket to your favourite event, or you need to have that exclusive Hermes handbag then you call these guys up. If you can dream it, they can do it and they pride themselves on accessing the inaccessible!

The Sincura Group is headed up by Directors, Tony Baxter and Tara Leers, who have carefully selected a team of elite concierge managers who are all specialists in their fields.  The office was a hive of activity when I visited; the team were preparing for London Fashion Week, arranging for their members to attend Disney’s film premiere for Beauty and the Beast and organising Sony’s private after-party to the Brit Awards.

Though they look after the world’s rich and famous, many of their clients are just regular people who use them to manage their properties or to organise their social calendars. Let’s face it, everyone can do with a little help from time to time and who better than to have the most influential people from around the world lending that helping hand.

I asked Liam O’Neill – Head of their Tickets Team (who incidentally were appointed as a VIP ticket partner for both the London Olympics and the Rugby World Cup) what the hottest tickets in town were at the moment – “After Glastonbury and the 6 Nations, it has to be Hamilton – the brand new West End musical that’s nigh on impossible to get tickets to. But we can!” It helps that they are the appointed concierge for Covent Garden, managing the residents, business and indeed theatreland, to gain access to this sold out show.

Meanwhile Jay Udo-Udoma, their Business Development Manager, is working on projects for the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club as well as Lexus and a few other luxury brands.

The company has already engaged with the local community, running an apprentice course with Henley College to discover and train up the newest lifestyle managers in the town and will soon be launching a new service which will be aimed at the local residents.
