Henley Hurricanes U9’s finished a successful first season in the South Berkshire league with a 4-0 victory over Ascot United.
Henley dominated all 4 quarters with stand out performances from Oliver Pratt and Theo Estornel in attack both winning man of the match. The Hurricanes gained an early lead with Oliver Pratt scoring from a through ball from George Bottomley. Into the second quarter and George Bottomley extended the lead this time converting a penetrating pass from Oliver.
Ascot having been unbeaten all season were unable to break down the Hurricanes defence with Ben Chapman, Jack Renders and Max Thatcher dealing with the Ascot attack.
Thomas Ferguson controlled the midfield providing the through ball to Oliver who crossed for Theo to convert the Hurricanes third goal. Into the final quarter and a long through ball from Ben Chapman was converted into the top corner by Oliver Pratt sealing the victory.
