Angus Wins Junior Golf Competition in Sudden Death Decider

Angus Harris-White won the Henley Golf Club Junior Open Competition in a exciting sudden death decider last week.

Angus who plays at both Henley and Badgemore Golf Clubs was drawn with Calum Miller from Badgemore Golf Club after they both shot a fantastic gross score of 69 (level par) in the main event after 18 holes.  Angus won after successfully holing his putt on the 16th.

The competition was open to any club juniors and this year attracted two entrants from Dubai and one from Cyprus.  Handicaps ranged from 3 to 28.

Angus said afterwards, “It was really nerve wracking on that deciding hole but I was so pleased to see my ball roll in and to win.”
