Local Gillotts Entrepreneur launches Hybrid Property Business

Daniel Bond has launched a new and exciting hybrid estate agent; Bonds that bridges the gap between your high-street agent and the online trading  agent. Bonds aim to remove the expensive fee and upfront costs through combining the traditional estate agent process, with modern methods of marketing including the growing use of social media.

The tailor-made service covers both sales and letting within Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire areas. Bonds aim is to transform the stigma of your ‘typical’ estate agent through demonstrating a very hands on approach with a personal touch.

Daniel said, “Having spent over 10 years in high-street offices, I witnessed firsthand, the diminishing footfall that agents have been so accustom to. This, combined with the increase in high street agent fees, my passion to launch a ‘hybrid’ service, taking into account both elements and utilising the power of social media marketing made perfect logical sense.”

Daniel was born and raised in Henley, educated at Valley Road  and Gillotts schools. He played football at Henley Boys football club which his grandfather Ken Downing founded and his grandparents also previously ran Thamesfield, the luxury retirement home. With this background, the decision to launch his business in Henley-on-Thames was a no brainer for Daniel. Daniel feels having local knowledge of the three counties is key to providing a tailor-made service to vendors, landlords, buyers and tenants.

”Launching my business in an area I know so well, has always been a long-term desire. I feel extremely proud to be able to base my business out of Henley-on-Thames, one of the most desirable locations within the Thames Valley, “ added Daniel.

Daniel is no stranger to multi-tasking, as well as launching his own business, he is currently playing for the Henley Hawks, a keen cyclist amongst the Chilterns and likes to spend time with ‘Lola’ the working cocker spaniel, also known as the Bonds office dog.
