Situation Vacant – Part Time Open Learning Centre Manager (Librarian)

APT&C Grade 8/9 (£23,398 – £28,485 per annum for full time) – 12.5 hours per week (11am-1.30pm).  Actual starting salary will be pro rata for part time working and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.

Occupying a 33 acre site on the edge of Henley-on-Thames, we are a co-educational school with academy status and have approximately 900 pupils aged 11 – 16.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced part time Librarian to manage and develop our Open Learning Centre (OLC) in order to enable staff and students to maximise use of the resources available, and to promote an environment conducive to learning.

You will select, acquire, organise, maintain and promote the OLC lending and reference stock to support literacy across the curriculum, as well as encourage the use of online and electronic resources.    You will also be responsible for the OLC Cover Supervisor.
