Gillotts Students Go Wild With Their Imaginations in Comedy Show

Gillotts students have gone wild with their imaginations this week when they’ve been performing Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy play, Ernie’s Incredible Illucinations.

The play sees Ernie’s incredible imagination alarming his parents and they take him to the doctor in search of a cure. Once they’re there, they discover Ernie’s ‘illucinations’ are more powerful than they realised. Everything Ernie imagines – from secret agents to a boxing granny – becomes real.

Students in years 7-9 have been rehearsing since September and performed two shows on Wednesday and Thursday this week.  Ernie was played brilliantly by Charlotte Reay with great supporting acting by Abby Brooks as Mum and Will Bonser as Dad.
