Police Alert – Counterfeit Scottish Notes Being Used

The Angel on the Bridge and The Anchor pubs have now released CCTV images of men who have handed over £50 Scottish and Irish notes in their pubs.

Thames Valley Police have reports of people using high quality counterfeit Scottish notes, especially over the weekend in the Henley area. They advise to remain vigilant and check all bank notes that are handed over.

If you suspect someone has tried to use a counterfeit note please call 101, or 999 if the crime is occurring at the time.
