If you were not invited to the Royal Wedding celebrations this Saturday then head over to the Bandstand at Mill Meadows where a party will be taking place with popular local singer Michelle B on Saturday (19 May) starting at 2pm. Michelle is calling the event the Alternative Royal Wedding and is promising decorations, games, prizes and of course brilliant music!
Michelle has been singing and performing for over ten years and made her first appearance at the Bandstand in 2012. She has won two video competitions and singing contests and performed at a huge variety of prestigious gigs which have included Proms in the Park, the Olympic Torch Relay, the Isle of Wight and at Adams Park before the Wycombe Wanderers game on May 5. She has done many performances in the local area and raised a lot of money for various charities.
She recently appeared on the Mary Flavelle show on Marlow FM who interviewed her and played tracks from her new album, Pain2Power.
Michelle will be featuring tracks from her album but also singing standards and classic pop songs.
Michelle said “The weather promises to be much warmer than in April when I last sang at the bandstand and I’m looking forward to dressing up and celebrating the Royal wedding in style. People can bring a picnic or there is a cafe where you can sit and still hear the music.
There will be an opportunity to buy a limited edition of Michelle’s album on CD and get her to sign it.
