Brownies Got Talent

Last week 3rd Henley Brownies enjoyed taking ‘Brownies got talent’ to Acacia Lodge care home. This is something that the girls chose to do and thanks to Wendy the Events Co-ordinator at Acacia Lodge they were able to perform to an audience.

Brownie Leader Rachel Leverett said, “It is really important for the Brownies to visit others in the community and help where we can. The girls each performed a talent of their choice. The residents on the first floor were entertained with gymnastics, art, dance, poetry, piano, violin and singing. The Brownies told the ladies and gentlemen the activities we have taken part in and how they earned their badges. This week the Brownies completed their artist badge and designed a card and letter to each of the residents that they met. We hope to do more in partnership in the coming months.”

3rd Henley Brownies are still looking for adult helpers, could this be you?  If so, get in touch via www.girlguiding.org.uk
