Local Girl to Represent GB Rowing in Shanghai

Natasha Harris-White has just heard that she has been selected to be part of the Great Britain rowing squad to compete in the World University Games which will be held in Shanghai, China in August this year. Natasha lives in Henley and went to Gillotts School and then The Henley College before going to Newcastle University. She now rows for Leander Club and won the Redgrave Challenge Vase in the Championship Coxless Pairs with Laura Meridew in this year’s Henley Women’s Regatta.

In order to be selected, Natasha has been through a series of trials throughout the season and trains six days a week. This does not leave time for a full time job, so to help Natasha take part in this prestigious event, she is looking for sponsorship and has set up a JustGiving page to try to raise funds. If you would like to donate, please visit https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/janice-white

Please help get behind Natasha and show your support for this local rising sporting star.
