Freezing temperatures at the end of January didn’t deter 29 hardy Brakspear fans and Henley Mayor, Councillor Glen Lambert from attending the annual Ale Trail party, held this year at the Saracens Head pub on Greys Road.
As well as free pints of Brakspear Bitter and Special, the ‘trailers’ enjoyed music from lively duo Fidget, as well as a warm welcome from the pub’s licensees Melanie and Colin Roberson, and the company of fellow Brakspear lovers. Guests had all completed the Henley Ale Trail during the previous year.
Marketing manager for Brakspear, Emma Sweet, said: “The annual Ale Trail party has become a popular fixture among Brakspear drinkers. It’s our way of thanking our loyal customers and everyone had a great evening, with great beer and music. I can’t think of a better way to banish the January blues!”
