A resident on Greys Hill got the shock of their life when they heard a loud bang at around 8am on Sunday morning and found a hole in their downstairs lounge window.
Luckily no was hurt in the incident.
Kirsten Hesketh said, “Police think it may have been an air gun or maybe a catapult which caused the damage. The glass flew over 20 feet through the room. Amazingly nothing was damaged. I’m choosing to believe it was an accident but what irresponsible behaviour in a built up residential area. Am wondering if anyone going to Trinity Church saw anything.”
A spokesperson for Thames Valley Police said, “Thames Valley Police officers are investigating a report of criminal damage which occurred at a property in Greys Hill. Officers attended the scene where a window had been damaged. An investigation into the cause of the incident is being carried out. Anyone with any information should call Thames Valley Police on 101.”
