The award was presented by Henley Lions President David Skinner, “Vivian was man who dedicated his long life to the service of others so he would be particularly pleased to know the award went to Lauren this year because of all the work she has done personally to support the choir as well as being an excellent musician herself.”

Lauren said, “It’s wonderful so see my dedication to the music department has been rewarded.” I thought I might spend some of it on going to the Proms in London this year.”

Lauren is going on to study A Levels in Chemistry, English Literary and History at Wargrave Piggott School in September though she added, “I will continue with my music outside of school.”
