In December, a major upgrade will be implemented on Great Western Railway services as timetables are adjusted to reflect the faster acceleration of new electric trains (both long and short distance) on the lines from Paddington, and Crossrail / Elizabeth line trains starting to operate some of the slower services between Reading and London.
Timings are yet to be finalised but services for Henley users will remain at current levels.
Local rail community group, Henley Trains encourage rail users to listen to the interview that Mark Hopwood gave on BBC Radio Berkshire today (5 August) on the reasons for and content of the changes. The interview is just 10 minutes long and can be found 18 minutes into the Andrew Peach Show replay
