Thames Valley Police received a report of another burglary at Station News newsagent in Station Road at around 1.30am today (19 September). The thieves smashed the large left-hand shop front window to gain access.
This is the second time in three weeks that the shop has been targeted by thieves who on Tuesday 3 September stole £7,000 worth of alcohol and cigarettes. Two masked men were caught on CCTV after triggering the alarm by throwing a large boulder through the bottom glass in the front door. The shop was also burgled in February 2018 when around £5,000 of stock was taken.
Thames Valley Police spokesperson said, “Four men have been arrested on suspicion of burglary in connection with this incident. All four men, aged 29, 39, 41 and 43 and from Slough, remain in police custody.”
