U11 Hawks Take Up Pass It on Challenge

It’s not only footballers showing off their skills in lockdown, rugby players are having fun too and the Henley Hawks U11s players and their families had fun making the above video.

U11 Head Coach Max Tilney said, “We decided to do it to keep our U11 players and their families engaged with the game and the club  but without setting too onerous a challenge. There have been a few videos circulating on Facebook. We are a Kids First Champion club and the Kids First Facebook page is a great community that we feed into and draw inspiration from.”

Max sent a short video to all the U11 parent group asking them to take part.  Max added, “In the video I said what we would like them to do was to have the ball come in from the camera left side and exit camera right. What they did with it in between was up to them but to go crazy if they wanted to!”

There are 30 players (and  some of their siblings/families) and three coaches in the video.  We particularly loved Joshua on the roof, the Moore family having a the line out, Tom up the tree and Murphy heading the ball on his bike.

Max edited the video as he runs his own video production business based in Henley.  He explained, “I am rolling out lots of positive messaging videos from senior Hawks players from our Kids First and Juniors section over the coming weeks to keep their spirits up and maintain the strong club connection in these strange times.”
