More events have been added to the virtual Chelsea Fringe Henley festival this week. You can watch all the events via their YouTube channel
On Thursday (21st May) at 7.00pm, the Fairmile Vineyard will give a virtual tour of the vineyard in Henley followed by a wine tasting by an expert from Watlington Fine Wines. If you would like to “join” the tasting, ask your fine wine merchant for a bottle or order direct from the vineyard: https://www.fairmilevineyard.co.uk/shop/ You can watch via the YouTube channel.
Badgemore Primary School have filmed a video of their beautiful garden to enjoy whilst taking a break from work, home-schooling etc. This is a ‘village school in the heart of town’ where teachers, parents and governors, together with the local community, have created a fantastic outdoor area for learning and playing. Projects have included a wildlife pond, orchard, wildflower area, vegetable area, woodland margin and a magical storytelling chair. Tomorrow headteacher, Tim Hoskins will be reading a story from the magical chair and this will be available to watch via the YouTube channel too.
The sun is out and we’re sure many people are enjoying their gardens in lockdown. Chelsea Fringe Henley organisers Victoria Newton and Jane McFarlane Duckworth would love you to share photos or videos of your gardens so send them to email@example.com by Friday 22 May.
