Henley Society Chairman Dies

It is with deep sadness that we report the passing of Frank Browne, aged just 50.
Frank was The Henley Society’s Chairman since 2017 and had been involved in the Society since the 90s.  Geoff Luckett from The Henley Society said, “He held the post of Chairman with distinction. Many of our recent initiatives were Frank-inspired and he will be missed but Frank was, above all, a ‘people person’ and he gathered around him on the Executive, competent colleagues who will carry on the Society’s work. He will be missed of that there is no doubt but he leaves the Society in good shape both in terms of personnel and finances.”
Whilst Frank had been battling a long-term illness his death came unexpectedly.
Frank was also leader of the Henley Conservatives for a year in 2018.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
