With students having returned to school after being home-schooled for the summer term because of the Covid-19 pandemic, many are probably returning to school feeling that they may need extra help to keep up with this year’s curriculum.

Laura Harris, a science teacher has relocated from London to Shiplake this summer with her husband, dog and young son and is offering tutoring in Science, Maths and Geography.

Laura has taught science for 9 years in two London schools and offers tutoring in KS3 Maths, Science and Geography (11-14 years), GCSE Biology, Chemistry and Physics, Biology A Level plus Common Entrance Science Exams.

Laura has a BSc (Biological Sciences), PGCE (Secondary Science) and MA (Educational Practice) and has experience in most Exam Boards and different School Prep Entrance and Scholarship exams.   She says, “I can help your son or daughter to catch up, build confidence and excel in Science. I have recently been tutoring successfully online but can also offer socially distanced face to face.”

One of Laura’s students said, “‘Before, I disliked Science, but ever since you have started teaching me, my grades have gone up and I have had a much more fun experience of the subject.”
