Nursery Children Excited to Post Their Letters to Santa

The children from St. Mary’s Nursery made their annual trip to post letters to Santa today.

The bitterly cold weather did nothing to dampen their enthusiasm, as they chattered excitedly on the walk into the town centre about their Christmas wishes.

Each child had drawn a picture of the gift that they would like to receive, and worked really hard on their writing to sign their own names.  From Dinosaurs to Magic Ponies, Blue Skateboards to Spiderman books, the range of goodies to add to Santa’s list was amazing!

“Posting their letters to Santa is always a highlight of the run up to Christmas for our children. The magic of writing to Father Christmas, and to receive a personal reply, is very special for our Nursery children. The children have all been enjoying our festive activities, including nativity rehearsals, making Christmas cards for their families and a visit to Trinity Church to hear the Christmas story from Reverend Duncan” said, Kate Catlin, Head of Nursery.
