Summer Holiday Events at the Library
Henley Library is looking forward to hosting various regular events for the long anticipated summer holiday!
Inspired by this year’s Summer Reading Challenge’s theme (Gadgeteers), “Robots!” will be held every Friday from 3:30pm onwards until the library closes. Anybody interested in robots of every kind is more than welcome to come to the library and see what our clever machines can do and how to build or programme them. If there’s sufficient demand, they can provide attendees with VR headsets and sphero robots. Children can also learn how to create their own games, websites or animations in our Code Club which opens with its first session on Tuesday 26 July at 10:30 am and will run for 6 consecutive weeks.
For younger children there is Storytime and Rhymetime. Rhymetime is designed for children under 5 years and runs every Monday at 9:30 am. For children who are a little older, we have a Storytime which runs every Saturday at 10:00 am and is followed by crafts.
The Herald will announce more exciting events at the library soon. Do not hesitate to contact the library for more details on 01865 815278 or henley.library@oxfordshire.gov.uk.
