Greener Henley are hosting a free talk this evening, 7:30pm at the Kings Arms Barn, to share practical advice on saving energy this winter.
With escalating energy bills, the cost of living crisis, and the climate crisis on people’s minds, Greener Henley invite you to explore how we can all save energy and money at home, and help protect the planet at the same time.
Find out useful hints and tips about draught-proofing and ventilation from Draught Busters. A properly draught-proofed and insulated house can reduce your energy demands and CO2 emissions, as well as save on bills.
Local resident Mel Gadsby will share how her family has halved their electricity bill at home and changed their lifestyles to be a bit kinder to the planet.
Other guest speakers will also be sharing practical advice that could help lower your bills, keep your home warmer and reduce your impact on the planet.
There will be time for a Q&A, and for attendees to share their energy saving tips too. Greener Henley hope that the event will leave you feeling inspired, knowledgeable and confident to make effective changes to your home.
