Christmas Gift Fair in aid of Sue Ryder Returns
The Christmas gift fair is returning to the Town Hall on Friday 2 December with a new organiser, Clare Renardson in aid of Sue Ryder.
Clare has taken it over from Julia Carey who has run it for the last couple of years. Clare said, “I went to The Henley Artisan Christmas Gift Fair as a stall holder last year for The H.O.T Candle Company. It was such a lovely event that when Julia said she wasn’t able to organise it again this year I said I would. The local people we have coming are fabulous at what they do. I just want as many people as possible to come and see for themselves.”
The fair will be open from 3.30-7.30pm with 25 stalls ranging from Christmas cards to jewellery, festive food and hampers to cosy socks and mittens, candles to ceramics. A great event to start your Christmas shopping and supporting local artisans.
The event will be raising money for Sue Ryder again. Clare added, “Alongside the stalls we are having a raffle, Santa (Selfies and Stories with Santa) and mulled wine and mince pies all the money collected from these will be given to Sue Ryder Charity. I chose them as they are a charity close to my heart, due to the support they gave us when my father was very sick some years ago.”
