After the success of Rupert House School Christmas Windows competition last year, they have decided to do the same again this year.
The school decided to do the competition last year as they were very disappointed that the Henley Living Advent Calendar wasn’t on and decided that, in its absence, they came up with an idea to contribute to enhancing the festiveness of the town and provide something for the local community to engage with.
Each one of the front-facing windows on the main school building in Bell Street has been installed with festive artwork created by pupils from across the school. Together, the windows illustrate a well-known Christmas story, song, poem or carol.
The idea is that members of the Rupert House and wider local community enjoy the windows, work out the story, then fill in a form on the school’s website with their answer as to which story our windows are telling. There will be one winner who will be chosen at random from a list of correct answers. The entry form and further details can be found here: Rupert House School – Christmas Windows Competition
Jenny Ovstedal, Marketing Manager at the school said, “We really hope that the whole Henley Community, and those passing through the town, will enjoy our display.”
