Auction of Promises for Local Good Causes

auction-of-promisesPaula Isaac and Dave Eggleton are organising an Auction of Promises on 28 September to raise money for five local causes at Henley Town Hall.  The money will go to:

  • Thames Valley and Chiltern Air Ambulance
  • Headway Henley
  • Children’s Cancer Leukemia Group based at the John Radcliffe Hospital
  • Bishopswood School
  • Gainsborough Residents Group to raise funds for improvements to Makins Recreation Ground

They are looking for donations from local companies, so if you can help please email Paula

The auction will be run by local Auctioneer Simon from Jacob and Jacob Auctioneers in Wallingford.  The items already on offer include a day with the Mayor of Henley and tea with him in the Mayor’s Chamber, race day tickets for Kempton Park and Newbury Racecourses, a paintballing day for 10 people plus lots more.

There will also be a raffle with cash and other great prizes.
