Singer Turns Henley Pink for Charity

melanie-bMichelle B, turned Henley Bandstand pink on Saturday while raising money for the Macmillan charity. Michelle, 28, who is the supervisor at Lloyds pharmacy in Farnham Common wore a salmon pink dress, her roadie wore a bright pink suit and a pink sleigh helped transport Michelle’s equipment.

Michelle performed classic standards and modern pop songs in her 90 minute set raising over £100 for charity.

Michelle said “I love performing at Henley Bandstand and people were so generous in giving to the Macmillan charity which is a charity I have supported now for many years. I had a fantastic time and the weather was very kind for our pink day!”

Michelle, who appeared at Proms in the Park last year, is appearing at Knotfest this Sunday at 1pm.
