Kidz Demo to Save the Rainbow Children’s Centre
Campaigners behind the threatened closure of the Henley Rainbow Children’s Centre are organising a fun and vibrant “Kidz Demonstration” this coming Tuesday 29 October in the Market Square 3-4pm.
Please join them with your children for a fun afternoon of singing songs, playing instruments and generally making a whole lotta loud noise! Children are welcome to come in fancy dress to create a striking visual impact!
They need to gather as many people as possible to create a real buzz and make Oxfordshire County Council sit up and take notice that this a cause that the Henley and surrounding community feels very passionately about and will not take lying down!
Oxfordshire County Council will make their budget cut proposals in December. The organisers Banny Poostchi and Emma Taylor said, “We have a whole month to make them aware that the children’s centres is an invaluable resource that we Henley parents cannot live without. We’ve been kindly given permission by Henley Town Council to hold the “Kidz Demo” in the Market Square so please come down and support this unmissable opportunity to help save our children’s centres!”
