Synchro-1Henley Synchro Club competed on 10 November in the Kent County Invitational Competition, held in Rochester Kent. The competition comprised both individual figures and team swims. The Henley club entered a total of 26 girls in total with 5 new girls from the Development Squad having their first taste of completion figures.  The club also entered 3 teams and 3 duets.

The club took 3 medals in the figure competition; Amelia Jones – Bronze Section 1 12 and under, Chelsea Holliday Silver Section 1, 13 and over and Charlotte Patrick Bronze Section 3.

In the Duets Silver medals were taken by Alexandra Turner and Amelia Jones in the Section 2 and under and Poppy Gray and Stephanie Ridge in the Section 5 and under.

The Section 2 and under team, Angel Green, Georgia Hunter, Amelia Jones, Eleanor Whittle and Caroline Wilkinson, brought home a Bronze.

This was a fantastic achievement for the club and the coaches are all immensely proud of the girls. It was an extremely long and tiring 14 hour day and the younger members especially coped tremendously well.

The next events from the club are the Nationals in Gloucester taking place on 29 November and the club’s Annual Show to be held on December 8 at Henley Leisure Centre from 6.00 p.m.  The show will feature a showcase of the fantastic routines the girls have been working on since the beginning of the year and will include team, duet and solo performances.
