Charlotte Pudney and Rebecca Crayford are the entrepreneurs behind Maison Artisan, the Deli Fayre which took place on Saturday at the Town Hall.
They first started thinking about launching this new event about three months ago over a cup of coffee. Charlotte and Rebecca are planning to run Maison Artisan Fayres every quarter in Henley offering high-end local products all under one roof. On Saturday there were 27 stalls offering an array of amazing food from cakes to cheeses, olives to beer, chocolate to chutneys.
Vanessa from Loddon Brewery said, “It is a great first fayre and there is a really good mixture of products on offer, Charlotte and Rebecca have really done their homework. It has also been good to be at a market with lots of new suppliers we haven’t met before too.”
The Chocolate Factory ran lollipop making workshops where children could decorate & personalise their own lolly and we really liked these chocolate shoes made by Auberge du Chocolat.
Charlotte said, “We were oversubscribed from suppliers wanting to come to this first one and we’re really pleased with the number of visitors we had too on Saturday.”
The date for the next one is Sunday 13 July at the Town Hall again.
