Henley Junior Squash Club to Offer Taster Sessions This Summer
Henley Junior Squash club, based at The Henley Leisure Centre in Gillots Lane, is offering taster sessions on Wednesday 30 July and Wednesday 27 August for those aged 5 to 18.
Taster sessions are open to any with an interest in the sport, or in trying something new for the summer. Expert tuition will be provided by the club’s Head Coach, Ross Gore, with the reduced cost of £5 per child due to the generous support of Invesco Perpetual, with squash rackets and goggles provided.
The Junior Squash club currently boasts over 50 members, who play at a range of ability level from beginner to national, and has an active programme of events for members. Afternoon coaching takes places every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday during term time, Junior League competition, matches against local clubs, and the Annual Club Championship. Non-members are also encouraged to attend the ‘turn up and play’ sessions on Sunday afternoons.
Annual membership of The Junior Squash club costs £18, and group coaching costs between £6 and £7 per 40-minute session.
