Children Entertain Residents at Acacia Lodge with Xmas Sing Song

acacia-lodgeHenley Children’s Theatre singing group visited Acacia Lodge last Friday to sing for the residents. They sang a a few old tunes and a couple of traditional carols, which all the residents enjoyed.

Muffin Hirst, who leads the group said, “The residents seemed to love seeing the small children and there were a few tears and some singing along. It was a marvellous experience for everyone, and we all benefitted. One resident watching was 108 years old which really impressed the young visitors.”

Sally from Acacia Lodge said, “The residents of Acacia were whisked away to wonderland by the students of Muffin Hurst. With students as young as 3 entertaining residents up to the age of 108 a truly magical moment to see something the residents will treasure as the festive season begins. Music is timeless universal and so very important. Thank you again team Muffin Hurst performing arts school from Sally-Anne Coleman & the residents of Acacia Lodge.”
