Donations to Bring Christmas Cheer to Poorly Children

Despite the cold and wet weather on Sunday, the Gainsborough Residents’ Association collected nearly £200 for the Helen & Douglas hospice to provide special equipment and toys for the children there at Christmas as well as collecting donations of toys and gifts for children at the Oxford Children’s Hospital.  Waitrose in Henley also kindly donated some chocolates for the staff at the hospital and hospice

The toys will be delivered by motorbike convoy starting at the River & Rowing Museum at on 6 December at 10am.  If you would like join the motorbike convoy please contact David Eggleton on 07836 202508.
