As new Chairman of the Regatta for the Disabled, I would like to thank outgoing Chairman Ian Tritton and our excellent

Committee for organising another marvellous fun filled interactive day for disabled persons and their families.

Also lots of thanks to others who without their support the event would not be so successful.

Phyllis Court for the use of the Paddock, Rivertime Boat Trust and Hobbs for use of their boats, volunteer marshalls on the day from Lions, Rotary, friends  and family. Stalls from Bishopswood school, Chiltern Centre, Headway adding to the climbing wall, petting zoo, Punch and Judy and the new interactive Circus skills. Not to forget the 11 energetic  volunteer Dragon Boat crews including many disabled.

The event could not happen without  our main sponsor The Shanly Foundation and generous donations from Invesco Perpetual, Henley Lions, Henley Bridge Rotary, Precious Love, Doris Field Charitable Trust, Henley Round Table, Henley Stewards Charitable Trust, the local NatWest Bank and donated services from Henwood & Dean, Simmons & Son & the Henley Rowing club.

So many bighearted organisations  and people involved to deliver a worthwhile fun day for Disabled and non-disabled persons who attended and enjoyed the event.

We have already booked next years date at Phyllis Court, 3 September 2016 and are researching even more plans to develop interactive events. An event not to be missed.
