Mums, Grandmas and daughters all enjoyed the first Ritzy Vintage Fair of 2016 at the Town Hall on Mothering Sunday.

There were 20 fabulous stalls of vintage clothing, accessories and home-wear with brilliant entertainment provided by swing singer, Steve Conway plus an on-site vintage hair salon, Le Petit Salon from the Caversham Retro Rooms, to leave every lady feeling pampered to perfection.

Whether it’s 60’s chic, 80’s accessories or a 40’s tea party that you like, there was something for everyone at the Ritzy Vintage Fair.  We loved the pink Vivienne Westwood heart shoes (pictured above). Anne Byard from Carnation Collectables, a regular stall holder said, “The limited edition Erstwilder quirky resin character brooches, necklaces and earrings from Australia were proving a popular buy again.”

The Mayor, Councillor Lorraine Hillier enjoyed browsing and made a few purchases said, “It’s the first time I’ve managed to come the vintage fair.  There’s some fabulous things for sale.”

Mary Skinner who runs Ritzy Vintage Fairs said, “Just want to say a big thank you to everyone who came along and made the event such a big success. A special thanks to all of our fabulous stall holders for sharing their amazing collections of vintage treasures and Steve Conway for providing the perfect atmosphere throughout the day. Vintage is a real passion of mine so it’s great to meet and chat to so many other people who share that passion. Keep up to date on all our goings on on the Ritzy Vintage Fairs Facebook page. We look forward to seeing you all again in July for the next one.”
