Trinity School Opens New Playground Equipment

The children at Trinity School couldn’t wait to have a go on the new playground equipment which was officially opened yesterday.

The new playground is suitable for the whole school and includes monkey bars, a climbing wall and balance beams.  The equipment cost £22,500 which was raised by a £1,000 donation from Davis Tate estate agents and fundraising events organised by the Friends of Trinity School (FOTS) that included £10,000 from a Black Tie Ball.

Joseph Nicholson, Chair of the FOTS said, “We’re delighted to officially open the playground today.  I’d like to thank, parent and Councillor Kellie Hinton for her help and advice on selecting the equipment, Davis Tate for their kind donation and the parents for their continued support.”

The whole school – teachers, pupils, governors, fots and sponsors have made such a great effort. With the new fencing and playground, the school continues to improve. Well done!
