Leading Thames Valley law firm Blandy & Blandy LLP, which has offices at 12 Hart Street, is hosting a free legal drop in clinic at Henley Town Hall on 14 March between 11-2pm.
Members of the firm’s renowned Private Client team will be on hand to answer questions on areas including wills, probate, tax and estate planning and lasting powers of attorney.
Partner Caroline Casagranda explained: “We recognise and appreciate that for many people, considering what will happen to their estate after they have gone can seem a daunting or difficult task. In addition, time can be an added pressure.
“On 14 March we invite local residents and those working in the town to drop in between 11.00am and 2.00pm – perhaps during part of their lunch hour or while in town shopping – to meet our team and ask any initial questions they might have. If any visitors would like further assistance, we will be able to arrange a convenient time for them to come and see us at either our Henley or Reading offices.”
The latest research from the Law Society shows that the majority of people in the UK have not written a will, with the highest percentage of those without a will in south east England.
Caroline added: “Our team has huge experience and can guide individuals and families through the entire process, to provide reassurance and peace of mind.
“We also advise individuals to review their will as their family circumstances change; for example, on the death of a loved one, when they marry or divorce, if children have grown up or if they have grandchildren they may wish to benefit, or if adult children’s marriages fail.”
