Fun Coffee & Soft Play Session Raises Funds for Valley Road PTA

The Henley Leisure Centre opened their doors to the Valley Road School PTA on Friday morning, to host two Fun Coffee and Soft Play Sessions.

This was a community-based fundraising event aimed at Valley Road School parents, and parents who had not yet started at the school.

The coffee morning in the soft play area was the perfect combination, and it was well received by both the adults, toddlers and babies who attended each of the two sessions.

Tesco donated healthy snacks for the kids. Conscious Cakes from Henley, who specialise in baking health-conscious cakes and treats (gluten-free and refined-sugar-free) donated cakes for sale.

Louise Colum and Mia Gibbons told the Henley Herald: “It was a real coming together of lots of different members of the community, which was lovely. The Henley Leisure Centre was very generous to let us use their fantastic soft play area, and we were lucky to be given healthy snacks by Tesco. Also, speaking as mums, we loved the delicious health-conscious cakes from Conscious Cakes. Thanks to everyone who supported us with this event. We are really pleased to have raised £150 for the Valley Road PTA.”
