The annual South and Vale Voluntary and Community Sector Forum is taking place on Wednesday 14 March, at the Cornerstone Arts Centre, Didcot (09.15-16.45).
The free forum aims to encourage local community groups and voluntary organisations to meet, discuss ideas and share advice.
This year the theme of ‘resilience’ will be discussed and debated throughout the day and you can learn top tips for what your organisation can do to become more resilient. Information on funding and other sector resources will be available at the lunchtime networking fair, and during the day you are invited to attend two training sessions and will be led through a facilitated networking session to get to know and learn from others in the voluntary sector.
Speakers include the Head of Policy and Public Services at NCVO, Chief Executive of one of Oxfordshire’s leading voluntary organisations and the manager of a local services organisation who will give a personal perspective of resilience in practice.
