Mastering Your Business Finances Event

Are you a founder, managing director or a business owner that has established a good track record of sales and cash generation?
Are you ready to take the next step in growth?

Do you have an accountant and book keeper providing you with the basics but not have a Finance Director helping you to make informed decisions?
Do you only receive sporadic financial reports and only minimal guidance on what your finances mean?

Join Think Forwards at Henley Business School on the evening of Thursday 22 November (6.00-7.30pm) to learn how to master your business finances. This FREE seminar will be followed by networking with refreshments and canapés.

The two sessions are designed with the successful entrepreneur in mind.

In the first session, you will explore the fundamentals of business finances, take a look at the latest time saving technology and discuss what best practice looks like when all these elements are mastered. You be shown how to put them to good use to help drive your business to sustainable, profitable growth. There will also be real life examples to cover:

  • What KPIs are right for your business to measure success and drive action?
  • The importance of profit analysis
  • The power of a budget

You will walk away armed with the knowledge of what your finances are telling you and how to utilise the information to help you make a success of your business.

Speaker: Chris Astle. CEO and Founder of Think Forwards, Henley on Thames, a future focused accounting and advisory practice. Chris is the Resident CFO at the Finance Director Magazine, chair of the 2018 CFO Agenda, guest lecturer at the Henley School of Management, and judge at the British Accountant Awards.

A second session will follow delivered by Henley Business School highlighting the enormous opportunities that exist for SMEs. Chris said, “This free event will help with many challenges being faced by businesses: Brexit – presenting currency and cross border issues; HMRC making tax digital – requiring businesses to ensure their finances are hosted on an approved cloud based accounting system and kept up to date quarterly and not just annually; the digital opportunity – how to make the most of the surge in business apps and cloud based accounting tools to drive efficiency and go paperless.”

Register online here: Once registered you will receive a link to an online calendar to schedule a call with our organiser to discuss the details of the course with you.
