Situation Vacant – Experienced Special Education Needs Co-ordinator

Badgemore Primary School is a small, friendly Forest School committed to providing a value-based curriculum that inspires and nurtures children to aspire and strive for excellence both academically and personally. We are particularly proud of our woodland area, which provides many opportunities for outdoor learning and we are looking for a new member of staff to join our team.

SENCo permanent 0.4 fte  (Main Scale £23720 to £35008 plus SEND allowance of £2149 pro rata.)

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Special Education Needs Co-ordinator.  Ideally four mornings a week but we have flexibility on this.  This position would involve leading and improving teaching and learning for SEND pupils throughout the school. You will help provide first line support, advice, encouragement and challenge to promote self-esteem, academic success and help remove barriers to learning. You will be a ‘first point of contact’ for Special Educational Needs & Disability (SEND) students and parents.  Role has possibility of increasing to 0.6 fte.
