Situation Vacant – Teaching Assistant (Temporary)

Badgemore Primary School is a small, friendly Forest School committed to providing a value-based curriculum that inspires and nurtures children to aspire and strive for excellence both academically and personally. We are particularly proud of our woodland area, which provides many opportunities for outdoor learning and we are looking for a new member of staff to join our team.

Teaching Assistant (Temporary) up to 27.5 hours a week term time only

We would also like to appoint a Teaching Assistant for the Spring term. If you would like to become part of our energetic, skilful teaching team as a Teaching Assistant, you will need to:

• Have good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Be patient, nurturing and have excellent communication skills.
• Be able to show initiative, think creatively and adopt learning to motivate and meet the needs of individual children.
• Be keen to be part of the many different aspects of the school community.
• Ideally have experience of working with SEND pupils.
