Whatever the weather, April snow showers or not – at this time of year Henley artists’ thoughts turn to preparing work for the Guild of Arts and Crafts annual SPRING EXHIBITION starting at the Old Fire Station Gallery on Friday (26 April).
There should be over 100 exhibits entered for this show and above are some of the delightful items which will be on view and for sale. Ranging from oil, acrylic and water colour paintings, collage, pottery and sculpture, and jewellery, the exhibition displays the work of any of the Guild’s 200 members who wish to submit.
The exhibition is kicked off with an Open View at the Gallery on the 26 April from 6pm to 8pm, to which all are invited and it continues until Tuesday 7 May (10.00-4.00pm) having become over the Bank Holiday weekend, one of the venues for the Henley Arts Trail, which usually brings hundreds of art lovers trekking around our town and surrounding areas.
Looking for something to brighten up that bare wall – or that empty mantelpiece – do come and see if some locally made art will suit!
