Henley Library are hosting a number of events in May.
For little ones and to celebrate Elmer the popular elephant’s 30th birthday, the library will be offering Elmer crafts for children to do and a treasure hunt on Saturday 25 May. They will have further activities during school half term the following week too.
A trial “seated exercise” session will take place in the library on Wednesday 29 May between 3.15-4.15pm. The gentle, chair-based exercises are great for improving your posture and balance, and are suitable for people with reduced mobility. Some classes introduce resistance bands and hand weights for muscle strengthening. Booking is essential and a short health questionnaire is required to be completed. Booking can be either in person at the library or by telephoning 01865 815278.
Free card making/craft session will also take place on Wednesday 29 May between 10.00-12.00 noon. Beginners welcome. Book by calling 01865 815278 or in person at the library. It is hoped that this becomes a monthly regular workshop.
