Popular Fossils Event Back at Henley Library
There’s another chance to attend a fossils event at Henley Library on Saturday 15 June (1-4pm) after last year’s event proved really popular.
This free event is suitable for children aged 5-10. Children will be able to handle fossils from Oxfordshire and around the world, examine dinosaur teeth, claws and bones, make and colour a dinosaur mask and dip into a sand tray to look for fossils.
Children are encouraged to also bring with them their own fossils and rocks for identification and there’ll be a £2 ‘Lucky dip’ for a 60 to 300 million year old fossil!
Please drop into the library for your ticket or email henley.library@oxfordshire.gov.uk Tel: 01865 815278
The event is being run by volunteers from the Oxfordshire Geology Trust
Children attending must be accompanied by an adult.
