Police Appeal for Witnesses to Shiplake Burglary

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Shiplake, Henley-on-Thames.

At 11.59am on Monday (11th June), a man broke into a property on Orchard Close. The aggrieved was in bed and heard noises, got up to give chase but the offender left. The offender had used a lamp holder to smash a downstairs window. It is believed nothing was taken as the offender was disturbed.

The offender is described as a white male, aged between 40 to 55yrs old,  average build, about 5ft 10ins, clean shaven but wrinkled skin, light grey beanie hat, forest green crew-necked jumper with embroidered logo on the left breast, light grey jogging bottoms, beige timberland style boots and wearing light cream leather gardening gloves.
