Shoplifter Steals £600 Worth Of Clothes From Stocks

A women, aged around 45 with dark shoulder length hair dressed in a blue Abercrombie & Fitch t-shirt, white jeans and white trainers (CCTV picture above) stole around £600 worth of clothes from Stocks in Bell Street on Friday (14 June) at around 1pm.

Lise Harrow, Stocks owner said, “The lady has a distinctive large tattoo on the left side of her neck.  She stole several items including 2 silk dresses, shirts, t-shirt and tops whilst shop staff were busy serving other customers.   One of our members of staff followed her out the shop as the security alarm went off  and approached the lady in the street and asked her to look in her bag but the lady refused and turned nasty.  I can’t believe that she was so blatant and it is so sad that in our lovely town some people can behave in such a way.”

As townsfolk we need to get a bit more ready to stand up and support each other when help is needed with thieves. Clearly, taking care of safety, but please don’t ignore others needing help. When I tried to follow some dodgy folks the other day some shoppers looked at me in disbelief.
