Regatta Rail Timetable Published

 

Great Western Rail have published the Henley Branch rail timetable for the Regatta period. Please check the timetable before travel.

Note that:

  • From Wednesday (3rd July) to Friday (5th July) after the morning peak, trains will mostly not be stopping at Shiplake en route from Henley to Twyford.   Passengers from Henley to Shiplake will need to travel via Twyford, and passengers from Shiplake to Twyford will need to travel via Henley.  All trains will be stopping at Henley, Wargrave and Twyford, with Shiplake only being served northbound (ie from Twyford to Henley) in most cases.
  • On Saturday (6th July), Wargrave will be served only by buses to and from Twyford.  Shiplake will be served half hourly by northbound trains but only hourly by southbound trains.
  • On Sunday (7th July), service will be as for Wednesday to Friday with most trains only stopping at Shiplake on the way from Twyford to Henley.  Passengers from Henley to Shiplake will need to travel via Twyford, and passengers from Shiplake to Twyford will need to travel via Henley.  All trains will be stopping at Henley, Wargrave and Twyford, with Shiplake only being served northbound (ie from Twyford to Henley) in most cases.

Normal tickets will be accepted for travel the long way around when necessary.
