The Regus Henley Building celebrated its first anniversary with a Caribbean themed barbecue on their roof-top terrace yesterday (Thursday) for their businesses and their guests.
The three-floor building offers offices, hot desks, break-out areas and meeting rooms on Newtown Road estate. Over 35 businesses use or rent office space and range from legal to marketing, IT to Healthcare. This was the second barbecue Regus had hosted over the summer with catering provided by Crumbs which showcased their stunning roof-top terrace in the sunshine.
Hannah Massie, General Manager for Regus Henley said,”We have had the most fantastic year welcoming so many great businesses into our Regus community. We are so lucky to house such wonderful clients from in and around Henley-on-Thames and we are so excited to see what the next year brings. The local businesses and residents from Henley have been so supportive and welcoming to us and we have had so much fun getting to know people from around the area”.
Henley Mayor, Councillor Ken Arlett did the honour of cutting the anniversary cake. Afterwards he said, “My view is that Regus offer something that nobody else does in Henley which are small offices where you can come and use them either on a permanent or on an adhoc basis. There’s about 90 or so offices in here and it’s good to have a number of different companies working between each other. It’s similar to the Henley Business Partnership 3FM network – they could almost use it like that as a club here. There are many offices being released above shops in town which are struggling and people are moving down here. I’ve been told it’s picked up over the last few months and it’s well over 50% full now which is great.”
