Three members of staff from the Sue Ryder South Oxfordshire Palliative Care hub have braved the shave to raise vital funds for the hospice.
Janella Davies and Katie Lovegrove, nursing staff at the hospice, and Nicole Fallon, a volunteer receptionist both faced the clippers yesterday and managed to raise an incredible £1, 258.
Speaking before the event, Nicole said: “I am shaving my head for Sue Ryder to support the vital work they do providing palliative care. I am constantly amazed by the bravery of all those who walk through the door. I am doing this in support of those who lose their hair due to illness.”
Special thanks to Ted James Barber Shop in Henley who did the shaving today free of charge.
