Loved Ones Are Remembered at Forget-Me-Not Walk

Those who have lost loved ones walked in their memory in the Sue Ryder Forget-Me-Not Walk on Sunday starting from Temple Island Meadows.

Around 200 people chose either a 5k or 10k walk at the new venue first this year. Previously the walk has started and finished at the Nettlebed hospice.

Christine Chatfield, Community Fundraiser for Sue Ryder said, “The walk was a great success for its first year at our new venue at Temple Island Meadows and the sun shone. Everyone enjoyed themselves and were delighted to have refreshments on their return and the children enjoyed Splat the Rat and hoopla games whilst the parents took a gamble on the Tombola.”
